Product introduction

The design concept behind our turntable takes part of its inspiration from the principles used in the design of off-road racing car. Create a high-performance vinyl player full of postmodern design art and technology is what we wanted. We decided to name our new creation: Giverny

The chassis of our turntable was designed collaboratively by numerous specialists. It is actually inspired by the suspensions seen on off-road racing vehicles. We sought to create a high-performance vinyl player that combined postmodern design and technology. Giverny is the name we chose for our creation.

Aluminum die casting is used in the construction of the chassis and deck structure. Because it combines rigidity with a highly smooth and soft vibration absorption pattern, this technology has a significant positive impact on sound. Using Finite Element and CAD software, multiple thicknesses and reinforcements were introduced with the goal of minimizing resonances and internal stresses. The connections between the chassis and the decks adopts a four-points balance inverted cradle structure with eight springs and eight shock absorbers. The four sets of suspension can be adjusted independently so that the turntable deck can be kept perfectly horizontally. The fabrication of Givernys structure is complex and expensive. It uses components which have to be produced with tight tolerances.

The two arm boards integrate a VTA adjustment function. It is possible to adjust them without any tool. The two arm boards are compatible with tonearms from 9 inches to 12 inches.

Speed consistency is key for vinyl playback and Givernys motor uses a speed controller specially developed for it. Besides, it also used an independent pure analog power supply. Giverny has three speeds 33, 45 and 78 revolutions. It offers automatic modes but also the possibility to fine tune each speeds. The system can be restored to the factory settings with just one press.

Giverny is the home of the impressionist master Monet who did create many masterpiece paintings. Mr Monet's painting has been a profound source of inspiration for us to comprise at its best art and technology. We worked hard to combine exquisite technology with a music presentation full of colors and vibes.
